Uli Nimptsch (1897-1977) RA - Original Mid 20th Century Crayon. Unsigned. On wove. There is discolouration towards the edges of the page, notably to the left edge and creasing and a small loss to the lower left corner. Some surface dirt as shown.

Uli Nimptsch (1897-1977) was best known as a sculptor of the human form in bronze. He was born in Berlin and studied at the Applied Art School in Berlin before travelling and studying in Rome, Paris and London. He has had a solo exhibition at the Redfern Gallery in 1942 and retrospective exhibitions at Temple Newsam and in Liverpool. He is a member of the RA and the RBA.
