Uli Nimptsch (1897-1977) RA - Original Mid 20th Century Crayon. Unsigned. On wove. There is discolouration to the edges of the page and an area of discolouration in the upper third. Small tears to the right edge.

Uli Nimptsch (1897-1977) was best known as a sculptor of the human form in bronze. He was born in Berlin and studied at the Applied Art School in Berlin before travelling and studying in Rome, Paris and London. He has had a solo exhibition at the Redfern Gallery in 1942 and retrospective exhibitions at Temple Newsam and in Liverpool. He is a member of the RA and the RBA.
