An ethereal late 19th Century landscape in oil showing Lake Killarney through the trees, bathed in pale moonlight. The light reflects in the calm waters. The artist has inscribed the location to the lower left and the painting has been presented in a gilt effect frame with a silvered gilt slip. There is a canvas stamp at the reverse, dating this painting circa 1900. On canvas.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Minor paint loss to the lower right corner. The frame has general tarnishing and some losses along the lower edge.
