An extraordinarily detailed ukiyo-e woodblock in a yamato-e style of imagery. The artist shows a very skilled hand with fine details. The scene shows a blacksmith's smithy, where two men are working metal tools and a woman looks on from the front of the shop.
The print is presented taped to thick paper-stock and in a black paper mount.
On washi.The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is a pink stain to the lower right corner.
