Thomas Nicholson Tyndale (1860-1930) was a British artist. Tyndale painted in watercolour and specialised in cottages, though he also painted landscapes and Venetian scenes. He was the cousin of Walter Tyndale, (1853-1943), a well-known painter and illustrator. Tyndale lived in Acton, West London, and was a regular exhibitor at the Dudley Gallery Art Society and at the Egyptian Hall in Piccadilly. He also exhibited in the provinces, showing at least nine works at the RWA. Tyndale also worked as an illustrator, painting twenty watercolours as illustrations for the book 'Worcestershire', published by A&C Black in 1909. He later moved to Worthing where he died aged seventy-eight.
