A fine watercolour of a misty woodland, painted by British artist Thomas Ireland (fl.1880-1927). Here Ireland has captured the last of the autumn colored with a single duck gracefully landing on a secluded woodland pond. The painting is signed to the lower right-hand corner. Well presented in a 20th century veneer wood frame. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There are a couple minor scratches visible on either side of the wood frame.
