Thomas Hamilton Crawford was a painter of architectural, urban settings and a mezzotint portrait engraver. He was born in Glasgow and a pupil of Sir Hubert von Herkomer. He exhibited at the RA (1891-99), at the Royal Scottish Academy, at the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts, and at the Paris Salon (1920-23).
