Thomas Campbell-Bennett was a painter and teacher of art born at Enville in Staffordshire where his father was village schoolmaster. Two years after his marriage he moved with his wife to Gunnislake in north Cornwall where he taught for many years at Pendruccumbe School in Launceston. In 1923 he and his family moved to Bideford in north Devon where he became a founder member of the Westward Ho! Art Club. He is known to have exhibited at the RBSA and his work is in the collection of Bideford Art Gallery, Devon.
