Thomas Bowles (c.1712-1767) - Original 1753 Engraving. A hand coloured engraving, published 1753, printed for and sold by for Robert Sayer at the Golden Buck opposite Fetter Lane, Sleet Street & Henry Overton at the White Horse Without Newgate. On watermarked laid. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and age toning. Plate marks are visible and intact. Some fine closed tears to sheet edges in areas, some other light surface marks and minor foxing spots. An old miniscule pin hole to the sky. A soft crease to the lower left corner.
