A large etching depicting a rural landscape in February by Theophile Narcisse Chauvel (1831-c.1914) after Benjamin Williams Leader RA's (1831-1923) painting 'February Fill Dyke' (1881). Inscribed with the names of both artists in plate. Inscribed with publication information and the date 1897 in plate to the lower edge. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some mild foxing, discolouration, and mount burn. There are two closed tears to the lower-left edge and one closed tear to the upper-right edge. Overall in good condition.
