Description

A hyper-realistic still life scene by the collectable British artist Ted Dyer (b.1940). This still life composition showcases the artist's mastery of light and shadow, with a single sherry glass and vibrant red tomatoes set against a deep red background. The interplay of textures – from the smooth glass to the polished fruit and crisp lines of the hardback book – create a visually rich scene that draws the eye. Well presented in a complementing wooden frame. Signed to the lower left. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

Minor staining to the linen trim and light scratches to the wooden frame. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.
