A charming scene depicting children playing in a field of poppies in high summer. They fly kites that float against the clear blue sky and rest picnic baskets in the meadow. Signed to the lower right. Presented in a gilt frame with foliate running patterns. On canvas.

Condition

The painting is in fine condition. their is some light wear to the frame.

Artist Biography

Ted Dyer is a British artist who has lived and worked in Cornwall since 1970. He paints primarily in oil and his subjects include harbours, landscape, superb still life and naval engagements. He widely collected and best known for his Cornish scenes.
