Tayi - 20th Century Mixed Media Botanical Specimen Composition

Description

An interesting and unusual composition, consisting of a painted ground with bright botanical elements behind glazing. This includes seed branches, moss and a coconut husk. Signed 'Tayi' to the lower right and framed in a stained wooden frame, as shown. Signed. On board.

Condition

In good condition overall. There is some debris behind the glazing, as well as a small tear near the lower edge. The frame has some minor marks and scuffing.
