There is some craquelure to the surface and some mild surface dirt. There has been a small restoration to the canvas by the rocks in the lower third and some restoration to the paint at the centre of the sky and to the leaves of the tree on the left bank. There are some white paint splatters to the upper edge of the frame and some marks to the slip.
