T. Mower Martin was an English-born Canadian painter who specialised in landscape studies. He was part of a limited group that were given passes by Canadian Pacific Railway to capture the scenic views in the west Canada. He was a founding member of the Ontario Society of artists and was a charter member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.
