A delightful little watercolour of a young man sat on a grassy hump. He holds a branch in his large hands and is dressed in a handsome red coat with stripy blue socks and a matching neckerchief. Well presented in a gilt effect frame. There is a scan fixed to the reverse with a detailed image of an inscription 'Mr Pottinger 1803'. Unsigned. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Some scuffs to the frame.
