This charming 20th-century landscape by the artist Stefan Iosifovich Repin (b. 1921) captures a vista of lush, rolling hills painted in harmonious tones of lavender, khaki, and ochre. Repin’s use of soft, layered brushstrokes creates a richly textured scene whilst maintaining a gentle, almost dreamlike air. Signed to the lower right. Further signed, dated and inscribed verso. On canvas on stretchers.
