A delicate portrait of a young woman with red hair by Stanley Engel. She wears a pale blue dress, complimenting her hair colour and pale complexion. Well presented in a Hogarth frame with a white mount. The artist has signed to the reverse of the board, hidden beneath the frame. Inscribed is 'Stanley Engel, 26 Northfield Pl. Bradford'. The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and minor foxing. Minor marks and scuffs to the frame.
