Bold and colourful, this collection of works by Welsh artist Sian Roberts comes directly from the artist's studio. Scenes include dynamic still life studies and floral arrangements which focus on colour and form.
Self-taught, Roberts lives and works in the South Wales valleys. Her paintings focus on the everyday and she takes pleasure injecting colour and fun into still life subjects. Inspired to take up a paintbrush in the past year, Sian is particularly focused on techniques and composition. Since then, she has grown more confident with colour, form and subject matter. Sian finds inspiration from illustrative artists and the post-impressionist movement.
