Sarah Louis Kilpack was a painter born in Covent Garden, London the daughter of a tobacconist. She is recorded to have exhibited frequently at the SWA. She originally trained as a musician, at the Royal Academy of Music. After the death of her father she concentrated more on her artwork, turning to full time painting in 1976.
