A charming miniature depiction of a lady wearing traditional Bavarian costume. A revived interest in miniature painting towards the middle of the 19th Century popularised the genre as a hobby for amateur artists. Monogrammed and Dated. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. With very light foxing to the page and light creasing.
