Sara Sproule was a painter and printmaker, born Marian Sara Sproule in Kensington, London. She studied at the Central School of Arts & Crafts and the Royal College of Art under Malcolm Osborne in the engraving school. She was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and also the Royal Watercolour Society in 1968. Examples of her work are in the collection of the V&A. Her death was recorded in Kingston-on-Thames.
