Artist Biography
Samuel Fenton RI (1923-2001) was a London-born painter who simultaneously worked as a salesman and continued to paint and exhibit his work. He had studied under Harold Brownsword at the Regent Street Polytechnic and also at Harrow Technical School. Fenton showed his paintings at the RA, RBA, and in Sussex where he lived. He was an elected member of the RI and a posthumous exhibition of his work was held at the Brighton Festival of 2010. He was the husband of Beryl Fenton.
