A view of a shepherd herding his flock at the Bustard near Chippenham. Presented glazed in a cream mount and a thin green and gilt-effect frame. Monogrammed and dated to the lower-right corner. There is a label on the verso, possibly cut from past backing paper, which includes the title. On watercolour paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some mild foxing and discolouration. There are some small scratches to the frame. Overall in good condition.
