A fine watercolour landscape showing the imposing Cheddar Gorge with the landmark, Lion's Rock to the left. The artist has signed illegibly to the lower right. The location and possible date (1857) is inscribed to the reverse. On watercolour paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is a tear to the upper right edge.
