Description

Two very fine Alpine scene presented in maple frames, painted with fine brushwork and sepia hues in a typical fashion of Victorian Grand Tour scenes. Both are signed and one is signed and dated 1885. On board.

Condition

Both paintings are in good condition. Inspection under UV light shows no signs of restoration. The frames are in good condition.
