Roy Young Ferguson (1907-1981) was an accomplished painter, caricaturist, illustrator and brother of artist Daniel Ferguson. Ferguson taught at Glasgow School of Art and exhibited at the Royal Scottish Watercolour Society where he was a member. Ferguson also exhibited at the RA, RSA, RBA, NEAC, RGI and the Paris Salon where he was awarded a Silver Medal in 1952. His work can be found in Glasgow Art Gallery and Newport Art Gallery, Gwent. He was an elected member of the RSW.
