Description

A fine example of marquetry art, this carefully crafted scene depicts a quaint rural village with figures and work horse in the road. The artist has used a variety of woods with varying grains, some with beautiful burr details to compose their view. Well presented in a slim black frame. Unsigned.

Condition

There is a small split in the panel to the upper left-hand corner and small surface marks near the centre of the composition.
