A dynamically textured Winter landscape in oil, showing dark rolling hills and fields in an expansive view at sundown. Two figures can be seen walking through the snow and trees at the lower third. The artist has signed and dated to the lower right and inscribed, signed and dated to the stretchers at the reverse. On canvas.

Artist Biography

Birmingham-born Ronald Moore is a A highly respected art historian and conservator, Consulted by members of the Kray family, though he never met Reggie and Ronnie, who developed an interest in art during their years in prison. “I still advise the Kray family, and I know several associates,” explains Ronald.
Somewhere in between, Ronald has restored to health works by the likes of Caravaggio, Turner, Constable, Rembrandt and Canaletto. A portfolio of photographs show his miraculous restorations, such as putting a smile back on a damaged portrait of Sir Joshua Reynolds.
Ronald’s own work has been shown worldwide, and at home his work has been shown at the Courtyard and Applestore Gallery.
