Roman Black R.B.A (b. 1915) - Signed Original Mid 20th Century Mixed Media. Aquatint with mixed media, signed in pencil and inscribed 'Artist's Proof' to the mount. Presented with original backing board and exhibition label from the Royal Society of British Artists. Mount measures 38 x 49.5 cm. Signed and inscribed. On wove. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and some light surface marks, Some light wrinkling to the paper.

Roman Black was a Polish born artist who moved to England just before WWII. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Paris Salon, and was elected in 1959 to the National Society of Painters and Sculptors and in 1963 to the Royal Society of British Artists.
