The cool-toned palette of soft blues, greys, and muted greens enhances the tranquil, almost melancholic mood. Artist Biography
Marine paint, born in Dover, Kent. After Clifton College, he was 37 years in the Royal Navy, which gave his pictures great authenticity. Was elected to RSMA in 1983, also showing with the Wapping Group of Artists and the Armed Forces’ Art Society. The Royal Naval Lifeboat Institution and Yarrow Shipbuilders hold examples. Lived in Snape, Suffolk.
