Richard Schlösser (1879-1962) was a German painter and teacher. He trained at the Hanover School of Applied Arts, before travelling to Italy, Paris, and Madrid to continue his studies. Schlösser himself taught at the School of Applied Arts in Hanover from 1906 to 1933. Among his students was the Dadaist Kurt Schwitters (1887-1948).
