Description
An original drypoint by René Allenbach (1889–1958) depicting a horse-drawn caravan making its way along a rough track with a small dog trotting alongside. Hatched fields roll away towards a low horizon, while tree branches break up the clear skies overhead. The print is well presented in an antique wooden frame, mounted under glass. Pencil signed below plate lines. Numbered 42/50. On paper.Condition
Minor foxing and discolouration to the paper. The frame shows traces of old woodworm damage. The artwork is in very good condition for its age.
