Artist Biography
Reginald Smallridge, was an English etcher who lived and worked in The South West and is particularly noted for his views and scenes of Cornwall. Possibly born in Exeter. He was not restricted to the West Country as works appear of Venice, Glasgow and elsewhere in the UK. He was recorded as having a studio in Looe, Cornwall in the late 1930’s. The British Museum gives Smallridge's date of birth as 1903 in Exeter, however Cornwall Artists give dates of 1838-1939.
