Artist, etcher and teacher born Reginald Herbert Green in Yarmouth, Norfolk the son of a schoolmaster. Details of his art education are as yet unknown but the 1911 census records Green living in Wimbledon and working as an 'elementary school teacher'. This suggests his art was the second string and he may have been an amateur. He is known to have exhibited at the Brook Street Art Gallery, Connell & Sons, Royal Academy of Arts, Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, Redfern Gallery, Royal Hibernian Academy and the Walker Art Gallery. The Royal West of England Academy who elected him a member in 1947 has examples of his work. His death was recorded in Maidenhead.
