Artist Biography
Born in Fulham.
Raymond Middleton began studying art at Putney School of Art and Hurlingham School night classes. He worked in the printing trade for much of his life with many years spent working in the fleet street.
Middleton has privately exhibited his work, with some paintings now in private collections. Over the years he has worked in all mediums, with his earlier works including traditional landscapes amongst other subjects.
He now enjoys painting ‘abstracts’., Experimenting with acrylics, and blending vibrant colours with geometric and metamorphic forms. Bring out the simplicity and beauty in the shapes and colours he uses and observing how they blend into the canvas.
