Raphael - Original 1837 Etching. The rare original 1837 Folio edition. The plates have never been bound into the binding. Complete with etchings of all 7 Raphael cartoons in the National Collection plus an etching of Raphael. Etched by A W Warren. The sheets are 42 x 28 cm but the plate sizes vary, around 12 x 18 cm. About 9 pages of text. Slight foxing around the edges, the binding is intact but failing, and the spine is deteriorated. Text is not attributed. Printed by Rickerby. Unsigned. On wove.
