A charming study of an elderly lady in classic dress for this period. With fine brush details, this painting captured the rich colours and textures of Mid 19th Century women's clothing. Signed to the lower right. On wove laid to card.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The are some slight surface marks and scuffing to the edges and corners. The colours have retained a lot of their original vibrancy. Very minor areas of flaking paint.
