R.S. Chattock - Original 19th Century Etching. Study after Thomas Gainsborough's "Wooded Landscape with Figures and Cows at a Watering Place (The Watering Place)", c.1776-7. Light inscription in bottom left corner "Gainsborough". Signed and inscribed. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Trimmed. 2cm tear at the right edge and loss at the upper edge as shown.
