Description
A charming street scene in watercolour by French artist Pierre le Boeuff (fl. 1899-1920). Timber-framed buildings line the square, whilst various figures and a horse and cart populate the cobbled streets. The tower of a church rises above the rooftops beyond. The work is signed to the lower right and is well presented in a swept gilt frame. On watercolour paper.Condition
Signs of wear consistent with age, including discolouration and light foxing to the paper. Scuffs and small losses to the frame. The artwork is in good condition for its age overall and the piece presents well.
