A seascape depicting large clipper ships setting sail for the baltic sea with small red-sailed boats in the foreground. Presented in an ornate gilt-effect wooden frame with a linen slip and gilt-effect inner edge. Signed to the lower-right edge. Inscribed with the title on the verso. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

There are a few mild marks and abrasions to the surface, including a slight indentation in the upper-right quadrant. Overall in very good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
