There is some mild surface dirt. Overall in very good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.

Peter Whittock was an accomplished nautical artist who exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists. Before painting full-time he worked as a tugboat skipper. His first-hand experience of ships and the sea underscores the detail and affection of his artistic style.
