Peter Ward PSA (1932-2003) - Original 1987 Oil. Set in wooden surround. Inscribed with artist's name and date verso. On canvas on stretchers. In fine condition.Sculpter, painter and teacher Peter was born in London, studied at The Kingston School of Art for 16 years he was on the staff of West Surrey College of Art. In the 1960`s he worked in St Ives Cornwall but it was not until 20 years later that he was able to settle there, teaching at St Ives School of Painting. His paintings were shown widely in Britain and France, and in 1997 he had a major retrospective at the Penwith Gallery.
