Artist Biography
Artist and teacher born in Hackney, London the son of an engraver working in the precious metal industry. He attended St. Alban’s School of Art where he studied under Norman Adams and where Peter was later to teach for nearly 20 years. At St Albans, he was involved in developing the postgraduate master’s degrees in art therapy and drama therapy. The success of these courses was significant in 1999 in establishing the arts therapies as registered professions in the National Health Service. His paintings were included in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition as well as other group shows.
