Artist Biography
Peter Partington is a British painter and illustrator born in Cambridge. From an early age he took an active interest in the wildlife of his surrounds and on relocating to Dorset this interest strengthened. His natural ability to draw was honed when he studied painting, printmaking and sculpture at both Bournemouth, and later Hornsey College of Art. His work is enlivened by a keen observation of bird plumage and behaviour in the field.
He has exhibited at the RSPB, The British Trust for Ornithology, and the Society of Wildlife Artists. He has also established a reputation for illustration, having illustrated both wildlife and art books.
