Also included in the background is a collaged border than blends perfectly into the rest of background, matching the colour of the vase. The painting is signed to the lower right-hand corner. Well presented in a bright gilt frame with a wooden green slip. Signed verso. On paper.Condition
In very good condition with only a few light scratches to the gilt frame.

Artist Biography
Peter McCarthy studied Composition of Art at Colchester Art School, Life Drawing and Childrens Book Illustration at Ipswich Art School and etching and printmaking at Suffolk College. A professional artist since 1985 working mainly in oils and acrylics on canvas and board.
