Peter Jay - Original Contemporary Acrylic. Signed. On board. In fine condition.Peter Jay first studied painting at Beckenham Art School and later at St Martins in London. After a short spell in advertising, and slightly longer in the “Rag trade”, he moved to the country and started painting full time. His subjects are mainly landscapes with a particular interest in the wild flowers of the area. The South Downs are a favourite source of inspiration and also the Romney Marsh and Ashdown Forest. He has exhibited at the RA Summer Exhibition on a number of occasions.
