A striking, semi-surrealist watercolour by the artist Peter Heaton, entitled 'Piano Bar'. This unusual, vibrant interior composition depicts figures seated, drinking cocktails and conversing, in a setting suggestive of a London club. Elements of the figures are translucent, giving the composition a unique and bizarre edge. Well-presented in a substantial stepped black frame with inner gilt slip, as shown.
