Paul Cendron

Each piece in this studio collection captures a sense of movement and spontaneity, where energetic marks and expressive layers come together to create a flowing visual rhythm.
Paul Cendron

Born in Franconville, France, in 1927, Paul Cendron pursued a painting practice alongside his work as a proofreader, a practice he began in his teens. Present on the art scene from the 1950s onward, with several presentations at the Salon des Surindépendants, he subsequently exhibited in Le Havre, Paris, Lyon, Brussels, and Germany.

His work, which he developed until his death in 2014, oscillates between painting and illustration, including several series of watercolours linked to literary texts by Jacques Sommer and Claude Kottelanne.
