Pamela Beves was an illustrator and abstract painter who was born in Brighton, Sussex. She studied at Brighton College of Art where she was taught by Dorothy Coke and Leslie Cole and furthered her education at Farnham School of Art.
Beves showed at the Redfern Gallery, Leicester Galleries and Beaux Arts Gallery, National Society of Painters, Sculptors & Printmakers, Heal’s Mansard Gallery, Society of Equestrian Artists and staged a solo exhibition at the Archer Gallery in 1955 and the Woodstock Gallery four years later.
